Reason why I love Anna and The French Kiss:
The City of Lights what a great back drop for this story about two people finding love and friendship in a boarding school six thousand miles from home, in a country where both are foreigners. Get ready to walk the streets of Paris and to learn a little about cinema, Pariscope magazine (which is a movie listing magazine), French pastries and how to be Parisian or pretend to be Canadian–so the Parisian are more forgiving towards you.
The writing style is amazing and relatable for young readers. It was such an easy read that I might read it again on a cold, dark and raining night. That just it, this is that kind of book that you go through all the things you would do on a Friday night but instead of going out you will be sitting in the comfort of where ever you happen to be located.
The way Stephanie Perkins portraits the romance between Anna and St.Claire is the most adorable thing I’ve read in awhile–I felt that what is happen between those two is genuine and real. The characters came right off the pages as the events unfold with impeccable taste.
Anna and Eitenne St. Claire makes the whole of this beautifully writing romance book. From the looks and subtle touches are a joy to read, these two made the book readable and outstandingly light on the mind–perfect for a long flight or a day at the beach. If only I could have a love like St. Claire(swoon!).
Anyways if your looking for something to read that will make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, look no further this is the book for you. And if your sad and need a pick me up, look past the coffee cup and grab a copy of Anna and The French Kiss before you know it, you will be in the city of love and lights!

I really enjoyed Anna and the French Kiss as well, which considering I am not a huge contemporary reader kinda surprised me! I agree too, I loved the setting and all the characters! And just learning little things about Paris and France in generally that I didn’t know made it that extra bit interesting for me. 😊
